My home screen is definitely 2k resolution but no matter what site i'm on it only lets me stream video in 720 at the highest or I could go lower but not higher. Anyone know how to fix this? The highest it shows it up to 720p as an option... nothing higher.

Hi,
On my Turbo, I went to YouTube and searched for a few HD videos and found some. I opened one ( I think it was a view of the Earth from space) and clicked on the overflow button (the 3 dots) and clicked on settings and changed to 1080. I was using connected using WiFi when I did this. Not sure if this helps answer your question.

And this is when streaming to the Turbo and watching it on the Turbo, not when streaming to a TV from the Turbo?

Not to hijack the issue at hand, but the CC is a phenomenal device that can be used with a Chrome Browser extension to cast web pages as well. Got it on special for $25 at Best Buy, and came with 3 months free of Google Play Music Radio and $10 in Play Store credit. Plus, you get notifications of free movies and albums for download each month.

I was just trying to stream on the device itself, not to a tv.

In that case Doc is probably right...your resolution is probably dependent upon your source's quality.

Are you possibly looking for settings with the camera? If so when you tap on the camera icon, swipe from left to right for them to show up.
