International phones on VZW network?

I'm moving to California after living overseas and I'm bringing some phones back with me that I'd like to continue using in the US. Can international Galaxy SIII (GT-I9300) or Duos (SM-G530H) be activated on Verizon's network or will I need to get new devices?

Welcome back to the US! Most international phones are designed to work with a broad range of carriers. To help reduce costs, they don’t always work with every available network. If the device was able to be programmed and activated on our network, we would not be able to guarantee what feature (if any) will work. We do have a great Trade-In program and many new devices available.
