Samsung Galaxy, powered by Verizon.... the sentence is almost over.
I have had two years of on-going issues with this device and with the service. Two years of replacements, endless hours on the phone, terrible customer service, over-inflated charges for no reason, no answers and a phone that has been nothing but aggravation. I can't wait to take a hammer to it.
I am happy to say that my contract with Verizon a.k.a. jail sentence is finally over in nine days.
I can't wait to drop Verizon like a bag of hammers and switch over to another service who doesn't try to bully and monopolize the market!
Good riddance Verizon. I will spend the rest of my time on this planet strongly encouraging everyone I know to avoid Verizon like the plague!
I am sure canceling the service on my contract end date will be an issue as well... that's just how they roll. Nothing is easy.
Ha ha if you can actually cancel before hearing how valuable a customer you are, and don't leave the family junk, and then the new offers of great phones and the largest and fastest 4G and the great customer service yep you then can leave.
But be careful if you leave one day too soon they will hit you with an early termination fee if you leave past your contract end date they will charge you for another month.
And if you leave and actually cancel your service and want to port your number you probably won't be able to since your number is no longer available.
If someone is bound and determined to leave Verizon, I always recommend they do it one month after their contract expires, just to be safe. If I was leaving, I would place my order with the other provider about 3 weeks after my Verizon contract has expired and 10 days before my next billing cycle date. This gives the new provider 10 days to get my account established, numbers ported in from Verizon, and Verizon account closed.
A) Ok so you're leaving. Why post it here and all caps. Smells of trolling. You want to leacve for "greener" pastures, great. Then do it and don't be so drama about it.
B) If Verizon is a bully and a monopoly how is it your able to go to another carrier?
C) The fact that you seem intent to waste "the rest of your time on this planet" trying to convince others to leave Verizon once you're "free" yourself is kind of weird. Once again leave and be done with it and move on. Simple.
Personally I'm sticking with Verizon. At&t isn't any better and T-mobile and Sprint don't care enough to bother to offer us service in my area, so why should I praise them for anything? They aren't not offering service because Verizon is monopoly they aren't offering service because our money isn't good enough for them. Talk about greedy. When your area doesn't get service because it's not "profitable enough", not that it's not profitable AT ALL, just "not enough" whatever that means. That's greed.
