KitKat update..do i need to download kitkat launcher???

I received the kitkat update a few days ago....only thing I see that changed was the camera icon on the lock screen...all my icons are the same as before the update...Should I download the kitkat launcher or what??? any help would be appreciated...as no one seems to answer me ...pls

I Received an update this week and it still shows 4.4 the same as before the update.  With the initial update to 4.4 I lost the ability to use text messaging with my 2009 Ford Sync system.  Will this GE fixed anytime soon?

Sorry to hear you have lost the ability to text. We want to get you back in business. What model phone are you having the trouble with? Go to Settings and About phone, what is the baseband version?

Hello sbap27, help is here front and center! Are you using bluetooth to connect to the Ford sync system? Can you try unpairing both device and then repairing. Also, you can factory reset the Ford Sync system to default to get the devices paired again.
