The weather widget (and the stock Weather application, with data provided by Accuweather.com) on my Kyocera Hydro Elite has stopped updating location automatically. The last successful update was on 17th of December, 2015. at about 20:30. It gives back "Connection failed." error message, regardless of GPS or Google location services are turned on/off.
I believe the problem is somewhere in the Accuweather services for Kyocera Corporation.
(The URL's below are the ones the phone is trying to access during weather update.)
The following query gives back no results (it is in a town called Erd, near Budapest, Hungary):
However, by searching by name, it gives back the right location:
http://kyoceracorporation.accu-weather.com/widget/kyoceracorporation/city-find.asp?location=erd
The same is happening with a lot less exotic location such as New York, NY:
I've asked Accuweather about the problem, here is their answer:
"The application you are using was developed by a 3rd party manufacturer. AccuWeather only supplies the weather data and cannot support the application itself. The manufacturer is responsible for databasing, displaying, and formatting this data and can address any concerns you may have. If they believe that we can be of assistance with their issue, they will contact us."
Could you please check if the location service is still available for Kyocera Hydro Elite?
Thank you in advance.

Is there any chance to get answer to my question?
A "we are looking into it" would be enough (for the time being)...

It is fixed now, at last... by a miracle.
Thank you!
