Speed dialing does not exist with the Ally. What you can do is add Direct Dial shortcuts to the desktop of one (or more) of your screens. Just press and hold on the background and select Shortcuts>Direct dial>and select the person/number you want to add.

In order to send an mms message please follow these steps:

  1. From the Homescreen, touch the applications tab(bottom of the screen).

  2. Touch Gallery.

  3. Touch the gallery.

  4. Touch the file.

  5. Touch Menu.
If needed, touch the screen the display Menu.

  6. Touch Share.

  7. Touch the share option.
    • My Space
    • Bluetooth
    • Picasa
    • PicSay
    • Facebook
    • Gmail
    • Messaging

  8. Enter the appropriate informationthen send the message.
Images / Steps may vary depending on the share option.

If you mean a file that is already on the phone, any mp3 on the phone should be available to select as a ringtone.  They should be added to your list.  If you mean a file somewhere else, you can text it to yourself or email it, then save it to phone, then select as ringtone.

Right i understand the email part, i did that twice with both ringtones and when i hit the menu button it doesn't give me the option to save. Am i doing something wrong or a different way to save?
