I had a LG G2 phone and it connected/performed perfectly in my 2014 Infiniti Q50 during the year I had the phone. The LG G3 phone in the same vehicle isn't performing so well. Calls through Bluetooth in the vehicle break up and I hear a couple seconds of auto tune voices. It's intermittent during the call, and I have a feeling it is related to signal strength .. but not sure.
I've replaced the sim card on the first phone, and then replaced it with a new one. The new one is going the same thing. I'm 2 days past the return date for the phone, and the idea of having two years of lousy call reception is frustrating. I don't have a Bluetooth headset, so I can't compare the vehicle's experience with another device. The phone streams music to the vehicle perfectly. It's just the phone calls. (Who uses a phone for calls these days?)
there are many accounts of the LG G3's bluetooth not functioning properly. Mine also doesnt work with several of my bluetooth devices. Verizon has nothing to say about it and LG says it my devices--- all of them. All i can say is I'm done with LG. And luckily I'm no longer under contract with verizon. Check around the forum and see some of the pointless responses from vz tech support regarding similar issues. Cheers.
