LG G6 Bricked

This is more of an FYI.  My new LG G6 worked flawlessly for 23 days.  It was working well last evening.

The phone was on with  80%+ charge and as of this morning...it's suddenly bricked.  Completely dead and unresponsive. The power button does nothing.  Pushing/holding the power and volume down button does nothing.  Connecting to the charger does nothing.  Dead.  Seems to be a firmware issue.

I've seen a couple mentions of this issue elsewhere, but wanted to share it here.  Not particularly happy because my LG G4 boot looped to death just last month after 1.5 years.

I'm starting to suspect some major flaws with LG phones.

Headed to the Verizon store this AM.

Call LG directly and see if they can fix it for you.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

DOA.  Replaced at the local Verizon store at no charge, including a new invisible glass+ shield.  My speed at setting up new phones is improving.  It's not a skill I was hoping to improve.  The service at the store was fairly quick and easy.

Thanks for letting us know. Glad you go it swapped out. A friend of mine had a challenge with his G4 but haven't seen many other issues since then.
