I'm hoping someone can help me because I am totally frustrated. My LG Spectrum is great but for some reason I can't get the events I enter on the phone to appear/sync with my Google calendar on my computer. I've checked and double checked all the basics...autosync is working, the correct calendar is registered on the phone, etc. If I enter information into my google calendar on my computer, it immediately shows up on the phone but I can't get it to work the other way around. Any suggestions?
I was having the opposite problem on my Samsung Stratosphere: events on the phone would sync to Google Calendar online, but not vice versa. I went through a lot of checking and rechecking settings, etc. What finally solved it was to do Home > Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All, and then select Calendar storage (not Calendar). I then tapped Clear data (which was at 0.95MB), and did a Power button Power off, then powered back on. The calendar synced both directions immediately. Thanks for responding, Dave! I actually figured it out...well, my amazing, computer saavy best friend did. When adding a new event on the phone, there is a section titled 'calendar' and that was defaulting to 'phone'. She switched it to my gmail account and viola! it was fixed. I actually feel silly that that was all that it was but it took the two of us hours to figure it out. Hopefully this will help someone else if they have the same trouble.
Ah, good catch by your friend. I noticed that "Phone" calendar category, and I managed to avoid it so thoroughly I had forgotten about it. Glad it's fixed, and that you didn't have to do anything drastic!
