My LG Vortex says that I am low on Space when I try to text. I have deleted all texts and most e-mails. I bought a larger SD Card but I can only put the two apps I downloaded to that. Any ideas?

Clear cache for your applications. Settings > applications > manage applications > all tab > menu > sort by size. Touch each one and then the clear cache button if found.
If you deleted all your text messages, also clear the data in the Dialer Storage application. See instructions above for how to find this application. It will delete the messages and call log.
Remove any unnecessary applications that you don't use.
Also consider clearing the data for your email application. You will have to re-setup your email accounts on the phone, but it will clear out a lot of data.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I wish I could remove unnecessary applications. Bunches preinstalled on this phone with apparently no memory space at all. I don't even use email and it is always low on storage space.

I'm having the same issue- is there no way to uninstall all the unwanted apps (i.e. Kindle)?

Sadly nope.. the best thing is to go into applications and clear some data out. you don't have to delete any apps completely.. but you can do clear data on browser
