I very seriously doubt it. The 2nd gen Moto x never even got Advanced calling / VoLTE, which it sorely needs. You can thank Lenovo for both of these.

Well that sucks!  I was reading some forum that said Verizon decided to do it even though they initially said they weren't.

No, it will not. Motorola made the decision to not update any of the US carrier branded Moto X 2014 models.

Also other NA products but their Euro/Asian ones will. For example the Moto E and Moto G unlocked and unbranded ones.
