Have you tried (A Fix For Me) three posts down? Might give it a try.

moedl2011, let's pick up the pieces to that picture. Did you download a 3rd party text messaging application from the Google Play market? Try deleting all unwanted text messages on your device to ensure that this isnt a memory capacity issue. Make sure that you disable Wi-Fi, connect to our network, and try the text messaging feature again. Keep us posted.

Please be advised that you have to disable Wi-Fi and connect to our network when sending and recieving multimedia messages. Verizon's suggestion of disabling wifi is required to send and receive mms is not correct. I've had my S4 for almost 2 years and have never had to disable wifi to send mms files. Suggestion, if you are within your two weeks trial period, take the phone back and exchange it.

I'm over that time period. I'm basically out of luck.
