My vtext account has been hacked.

It started about 2 weeks ago when I messaged a person on facebook.  They had posted a link to a porn clip on my facebook community page. A few days later I started getting texts from random numbers like this 1233223@vtext.com.  I told the number today that I didn't know who they were.  We exchanged a couple text and they tell me I had sent a text saying I was lonely and other inappropriate things.  So my question is how do i make this stop?  Do I change my password for verizon?  Do I reset my phone ( I so don't want to do that).

any help would be appreciated.

kdlarose,

I wouldn't be happy if I received random text messages especially from unwanted numbers.  Thanks for the details. It looks like it's coming from vtext.com which is also considered an email text.  Here are your options of blocking them: https://goo.gl/9o6RgZ.
