Have talked to Samsung. The issue is with Verizon,  not Samsung.

I, too, am tired of spending hours and hours trying to get my phone to actually make phone calls (imagine that!). Yesterday after being placed on hold for 20+ minutes I spoke to one of the rudest customer service people I have ever experienced in my life. He basically blamed Verizon Note 3 customers for our perceived level of dropped calls, saying our perception is exaggerated!!! Uhhmmm no sorry...redialing over and over on a phone for 30 minutes and getting a "Mobile network not available" message is not how a phone should work!! I am on my 3rd Note 3 (replaced twice)...still having the same problems. Phone worked great before Kitkat :(.

oh and I was told on Tuesday that I would receive a call back from a Verizon rep on Wednesday,  to see if reflashing my phone at Samsung helped.  Reflashing did nothing to help and I am still waiting for that callback from her...

What happened to Verizon's great customer service???

Seems someone failed basic business class in school. People run a business or go to work everyday to do what? Make money. Then why would anyone discount their product or service for someone to use that they don't even know?

They discount the phone as an incentive to sign up for a 2 year service contract. During those 2 years, they make their money back from the loss they took on the phone. Its not really that complicated. Thats why there are things such as ETFs.

Vaporgirrl, great customer service still exists with us! Are you dropping calls every where you go on your device or just in a specific area?

Additionally, let's take a closer look at your device since retreiving that software update. Did you previously download any 3rd party applications to your phone? If so, some applications can conflict with the software update and affect the performance of your call. Try uninstalling any unwanted applications on your devicve, power it off/on to soft reset, and keep us posted.

Having issues making and receiving phone calls with my note 3. Problem seems to be getting worse daily. I have had service in my home and at work with my other phones and my husband's phone works fine when we are in the same space! 

Area code 29510

have reset factory settings

turned off and on

taken out the battery and the Sim card

used without a case to see if that helped... it didn't

Data works fine

no damage whatsoever to phone

please help!
