No Internet connection after Oreo update

Got the Oreo update this morning and now I don't have an internet connection.  Is there a fix for this besides a factory reset?

I know how much I rely on my phone, Timpro51. Let's get you connected again quickly. What device do you have? Did you add any new applications after the update? Can you connect to Wifi?

can you select wi-fi, are you connected to the network??

I could connect to wifi and there were no apps installed after the update.  I have a S8 and all that happened was I ran the update and then couldn't connect to the network.  I did a factory reset (which really sucks to have to do) and everything is working fine now.

the reset is no fun but great if it resolves the problem!!
