I also have not received an alert in over a year. Does this function even work on Androids anymore? We have severe storm warnings all summer and winter, including severe thunderstorm warnings last night, and I did not receive any alerts.

I understand the importance of receiving these wireless emergency alerts! There are different factors that play a part of the Wireless Emergency Alerts, including alert categories, severity, urgency and etc. If your device is roaming, it will prevent you from receiving alerts as well.
