This is my first time Pre-ordering a phone from Verizon and my ship by date is also 10/23 which is about a week from the original release date. I've read online that some companies receive their preordered phones ahead of time but i dont know how Verizon works. I hope we don't have to wait that long my iphone 5 is also having battery issues.

Comparing Competing companies is a healthy is extremely relevant, it benefits the consumers most when companies try to out do their competitors. Seeing as how Verizon is the ONLY provider with the ship by date as 10/23.

It's a preorder for a phone, who cares if you get it a few days early when you can't even use it in 70% of the United States. Nothing like shooting yourself in the foot.....

Take a look at the T-Mobile Coverage maps once. Then Look at the ones for Verizon. There is no competition to be had. This is the reason why they have to Bribe customers to join them with claims of ETF payments and things like that. And they are still losing more Customers than they are getting everyday

That might be true although the reason those T-mobile customers have t-mobile is probably because they get great signal wherever they are. There is actually some information on how NVIDIA is suing Samsung because of their Processors or something and that might be the reason why Samsung is rushing the sales...but who knows.
