Note Edge Horrible Problems

I've had the Samsung Note Edge since April. I have tried every cleaning/boost app recommended and they provide some help but only temporarily.  I am beginning to hate this phone.  It's slow, overheats even when you're not doing anything with it, the battery drains constantly and because of all this it's one of the most frustrating phones I have had.  Can this be fixed?  And, I really don't want to hear about closing apps or getting a boost app etc...because I have tried all of that.  I am tired of getting ready to take a picture, for example, and without me even using it before hand, feeling its hot...then it taking awhile to even load the camera app up...then it telling me it's too hot to record anything and it takes forever to even snap a picture (no quick pics for me).  I am tired of getting in my car and waiting forever for the mapping app to load etc...this is extremely disappointing and I'm wondering if it has something to do with Verizon apparently not even selling them anymore.  I need a fix to this.  I feel duped as I gave up my unlimited data for this thing.  If I have to go in pocket for a new phone early, that is it...I will say good bye to Verizon especially since I have no real incentive (e.g. unlimited data) to stay with Verizon anymore.

The phone is not made by Verizon, so its not really verizons fault.   If it is a faulty phone call and get a manufactors warrenty replacement.

Well, that is what I am trying to figure out.  From researching online, it sounds like I'm not the only person with this problem and so I'd like someone to tell me if it's my phone or a problem with the type of phone generally.  In addition, some message boards are saying the most recent version of the system program (which may help make improvements) was blocked for my phone only by Verizon and no other carrier.  So, if I thought it was just this specific phone I would address that (note: I am paying for a warranty also through Verizon so they too would be the first I'd go to).

there might be 10,000 post online about problems with the phone, and there could be 10,000,000 people who have the phone nad have no problem.  Only way to find out is use you warrenty rights and get a new one.  It doesn't reset any contracts so why not try?
