I am so sick of Verizon.They overcharge for everything and on top of that when call in to find out why your bill is so high they have people like Sherita give you an attitude. Your already upset because of the high bill and then you have to deal with someone who doesnt need to be in customer service telling you that they charge you just for having a plan and then they charge you by the line and usage. What in the world? Why does the plan cost 80 and then you charge me 55 for the phone use( 9.99line, 29.99web, 17.97reconnect,4.27tax, +late fee) I dont follow. Why is just the plan itself 65.17 before they they charge you all these fees.Puzzled and outraged....My plan is to let go of this service as soon as my contract is over and maybe before. sick of this already
They charge the 9.99 for extra lines, and 29.99 for data, because you agreed to it when you signed the contract. Those are normal charges that all with add'l phones or have data pay.
Why does a dealership have to charge me add'l for AC, power windows, Leather seats??? They are add'l items, just like add'l lines and data.
I agree with you budone. If they would just offer unlimited data like EVERY OTHER WIRELESS PROVIDER ON THE PLANET...we wouldn't have to worry about calling in and asking about charges all the time just for using our phones, because they wouldn't be there. You would think with all the money verizon makes on these additional fees and charges they might be able to offer their customers unlimited data plans again at some point. It is bull. They don't even offer unlimited internet usage from home. It is ridiculous. So much for being the #1 service provider. It's all bull shit.

This is not the case. MOST other wireless providers do not offer unlimited.
You also have in there a reconnect fee and late fee. This means you were late enough to have service cut off. Sooooo, your normal charge for that line is $40 + tax. If you had read the contract (or at least listened to the sales person) before you signed, you would know this. You also have to remember, CS reps, all day long, have to deal with people who are trying to get out of paying for one thing or another. Not saying her actions were justified, just think you could be a little more understanding.
they sell unlimited services with hardcaps , useally at 2gigs.. then you get dial up speeds..
i'm not sure whats better, faster speeds and end up paying overage or slow speeds that takes 5 mins to check an email
Which Planet? Certainly not this one. The only carrier, so far, that has unlimited data is Sprint. And believe me, when people start switching to Sprint, and start gobbling up data, what do you think will happen with their unlimited plan?
Don't blame the carriers, most people stay under 2GB per month. However, there are those out there that use streaming videos, streaming music, etc., that eat up data. It is those few who are causing this dilemma. And they know who they are.
So there was line level pricing “back in the day” when the primary got the bulk charges. Each subsequent line was 9.99 back then too. So they switch to account level pricing to simplify the bill – base cost for the calling plan, and then line specific charges and you think that’s bull? 9.99 line charge isn’t a fee. It’s your monthly access charge. 29.99 unlimited data also it’s a fee. It’s a feature. If you don’t want to pay it, then switch to a basic phone. Reconnect and late fee are the only fees. But you agreed to those terms and conditions before hand. So there shouldn’t be any surprises. Or claims at overcharging…
