I turned on the pedometer in S Health on my Note 4 and was surprised that it was wildly over counting my steps. When I suspected the problem, I decided to try a test. I looked at the number of steps I had taken. Took 3 more steps and looked again. Behold, the thing said I had taken 20 steps!
Is this a common problem with Galaxy Notes or is it just a Note 4 issue?

Even better and you can save some big $$$, just buy a good pedometer. S Health ped was not made to be super accurate. Remember it's just a normal phone app. Enjoy your Galaxy N4 and have fun with the Health app.

It's hard to accurately measure when you have just the phone. When you hold it, move it around, put it in your pocket, text, anything, it counts all of that towards it. For better results, look into getting a smart watch.
