I have a V30 and this has not happened to me.
Perhaps someone attempted to activate another V30 and got the S/N or IMEI wrong? Or you have a prankster friend or family member?
This is certainly a strange situation, Psplus1. I recommend you login to your Verizon account on your computer (vzw.com/login), and reset the password to ensure that your account has not been compromised. While you are logged in I also recommend reviewing the amount of lines active on your account to confirm that no unauthorized changes have been processed.
