What the heck is up with this??? I just bought the Samsung Illusion. It's pre-paid!! Who charges activation fees for a pre-paid phone. ONLY Verizon! My AT&T phone didn't, T-Mobile didn't, heck even Boost Mobile didn't. Why does verizon charge an extra fee? After paying 180 for a phone and 80 for the monthly fee why would I pay 35 to activate it??? Back to AT&T for me. I'm not paying that fee. they wouldn't even consider waiving the fee. Now to return the phone to the store, waste of money. So much for best service.
