Purple dots on front facing camera

I have a Galaxy S6 purchased during release week.  Recently I noticed there are purple dots when taking darkened front facing camera photos.  These dots are static. 

I completed a device wipe / factory reset on the device and that did not clear up the issue.  It seems hardware related.

What are my options?

I'd suggest contacting Samsung or VzW Customer Service; it's a known issue, i.e.,

I contacted Samsung last night, but they wanted me to ship my phone out for repair and be phoneless for over 2 weeks.  I've read some pretty nasty horror stories with their repair shipments, too. 

VZW was my next choice, so I'll see what I can do through them.  Thanks tikibar1!
