Question regarding e-mail asking for a server password and not syncing.

Hi all. I have downloaded the Yahoo Mail app as suggested for better security. I was using a secured wi fi access when renting a house on vacation. Since then, my emails on the phone are not syncing to current date and time. Phone is telling me that 'sign-in' failed, then asking for a password for my server. How do I correct this and what password is it asking for? Thanks.

I would delete the application and re-install. It seems that the account was setup on a POP3, IMAP, or SMTP. I have listed the Server info for each below:

Incoming Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com

Port: 993

Security: SSL

Outgoing Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Port: 465

Port: 587

Security: SSL/Authentication

Username: Full Email Address

Note that Yahoo prefers IMAP on mobile devices
