Has this feature been removed from the default text app in android? If not, how do you turn it back on? If so WHY?
Seems to work fine from my Droid Turbo 2 using Verizon's Message+. Have you posted this question on a forum dedicated to the make/model device you're using?
Found a fix. It is a conflict with the edge notification app. If you have edge lighting on, no pop ups -- since the last update anyway.
