I have a Tracfone LG Optimus Dynamic phone that runs on the Verizon network. I read that these phones do not 'roam'. What exactly does roaming mean?

Roaming is when your device can make/receive calls in situations when you are temporarily outside of your coverage area. We recommend that you dial *228 and choose option 2 to update the roaming capabilities on your device.
