On the S3-i535 32G phone with stock email program, when receiving messages with an .ics attachment, the attachment is not being received/displayed, thus it cannot be added to a calendar.There is 9Gig free on the phone size and 5gig free on the sd card side.
with the KitKat update, on a google business account using exchange/push set up (m.google.com), when a message with a ics calendar attachment is received the ics attachment is removed or not included.
On a windows exchange account, the same message displays the .ics attachment.
I have downloaded/installed the K9 email program and using the imap/smtp features, the ics attachment appears on the google business account.
There is definitely an issue from the KitKat update that has disabled the receiving of .ics calendar attachments as this previously functioned correctly.
Any help???
