Have you had that device for less than 12 months? If so, it's still covered under the manufacturer warranty. Were you provided with that option.

I'm having the same issue my phone is over a year old and the only thing I can see wrong with the charging port is that when I plug it in it's loose is there anything I can do that wont cost me an arm and leg to fix it

If you don't have extended warranty then you can send it in to Samsung for repair or take it to a local cell phone repair. Ladder will cost you a finger nail
