My 1 year old Samsung Stratosphere was working fine. Of course 2 weeks after my warranty expired, it decided it would turn off, and stay in the start up loop. Only flashing the Samsung logo. It's been going on for a week, and i have not been able to use my phone. I've tried taking out the battery for a while, taking out the sim card and putting it back in, taking out the SD card, and I've done a factory reset. Absolutely nothing works. I really like this phone and would love to get it working. Unfortunately like i stated above, the warranty ran out. I have no insurance, and my contract isn't eligible for upgrade till around March 2014.
Any suggestions? Has anyone ever fixed this issue? Thanks!

Master reset.
Since you are stuck in a loop, follow the steps from the point you power the device up again

@siren905,
Having a working phone is definitely important so I feel your pain! But don't worry because I'm here to help find a resolution to this problem.
You mentioned you performed a manufacturer reset. Did this help any? Sometime you have to do it more then once if it doesn't work the first time. I suggest you give it a try one more time http://vz.to/11r5sQA and see if it helps.
Has there been any physical or liquid damage? Have you taken the phone into a VZW store for a hands on evaluation of the device?
If the phone is out of warranty and you don't have insurance or eligible for an upgrade their is another option for you. You may qualify to purchase a certified pre-owned device at a discount price. Visit http://vz.to/rcDvLW for complete details.
I'm here if you need further assistance.

Thank you for answering.
I've tried the Manufacture reset around 4-5 times now. It'll work for a minute, then it'll shut off again and start up the loop. It randomly started working 2 days ago for a whole day, then it went through the loop again..
I haven't been to a verizon store yet.

i continue to have the same problem. This is my 2nd replacement and now i have to purchase a new one at full price if i can't get it to work. This is the same problem i have had with all 3 phones and each of my replacement phones were refurbished phones. I am extremely frustrated and cannot afford a new phone and my upgrade isnt available until Feb.
