Verizon branded Samsung note 10 plus 4g only phone. Suddenly no notification sound when a message comes in using the stock samsng messaging app on the phone. Notification sounds are on and work for email, facebook, twitter, games and everything else but stopped for samsung messaging. Husband has exact same phone both fully updated and his is doing the same. I think this may have started after they rolled out advanced messaging to us and got it working as I know before that it was working. Stumped where to go and get the sound back.

That would be annoying after finally getting advanced messaging to work. Just to verify the basic troubleshooting steps have been made, have you removed/changed the assigned notification tone to silent or a stock tone in case you were using a custom tone? Reboot the phone?
Beyond that, is there developer email address associated with the Samsung messaging application? If so, it may be a good idea to email them.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

No idea who developes this for Samsung as you can't download it from the Google store. Comes stock when you get a samsung phone as far as I can tell so not something you can uninstall and reinstall. I am assuming it's Samsung as it says this. Could this not be Samsung? I only have this and Verizon messaging that came whrn I first got the phone.
