Small phone found!

QWERTY basic phones are dead, but that doesn’t mean the end of pocket sized phones with text capability (that’s not annoying).  Or a phone with a real keyboard (other than aging BlackBerry).

Verizon Palm:  opinion 👎🏻 Meh…

Pro - it has Wifi calling, it’s Uber tiny,

Con - hard to find the standalone, poor battery life, no mophie cases, getting old, only 32 gigs, slow.  Poor camera.  Poor reception.  Poor mic/speakers.  Tiny keyboard for typing, but still works well.

Unihetz Jelly 2:  👍🏼👍🏼

Pro - it’s got a decent battery, 128 storage and 4 gigs ram. Dual sim, or sim with SD card.  Good speaker.  Credit card size, but thick with extra battery.  3.5mm headphone Jack (haven’t tried radio yet).

Con - no android 12 (yet?), no Wifi calling, poor camera, low res screen.  Tiny keyboard for typing, but still works well.

Setting up the Jelly 2 was just like any other android smartphone.  Copied over from my S21+ beautifully.  Used it for a day, and so far quite impressed.
another choice for a really big battery is the Unihertz Atom.
The other Unihertz phones also work (except Jelly 1) including the Titan pocket, which has a physical QWERTY keyboard.  I have not tested any but the Jelly 2.

128 not enough storage.  I use a lot of apps so need the 512 on my notex10 plus.  Love this phone so will keep it until it dies.  I am a big phone user.

My post wasn’t aimed at ‘big phone users’.  If for all the people who have complained about Verizon discontinuing it’s small phones because of 3g shut off.

BTW, it’s dual sim, or one sim and an SD card.
