I have been having issues when receiving pictures in my text messages. Every time I do receive a picture message, it comes up as a video and have to save it in order to expand the picture to see it clearer. Is there a way to get around this so when I tap on the picture in my text inbox I can see a picture and not a 10 second video?
Unfortunately, this seems to be how these phones work. I find it strange and annoying also.
I believe that has been the default behavior of picture messages since Android 2.1 or 1.5 since my DROID Eris functioned that manner. The Galaxy Nexus phone with Android 4.1.1 JR003O Update (Jelly Bean) is the same.
