Has anyone else received a text message 'Please update your verizon online account' with a link to http://verizon.tvphone.com/MyVerizon/ ???This URL looks suspicious and when I did a lookup for their domain, tvphone.com, it belongs to a software engineer in Connecticut!!! not Verizon.I chatted with a Verizon representative and they are not aware of these messages.

Forward the text to SPAM (7726) and then follow the instructions in the reply text that you receive.

Thank you. I got this text message this morning at 6:30 am. from phone number 855-534-5284 and same message and link you received. I've spent all day trying to find out who it was. If you type in the link address instead of clicking on it, it goes nowhere. Now I know what it is for sure and will report it.

It is my understanding that when you forward a suspicious text to SPAM (7726) you are forwarding it to the FTC in Washington DC. You can go to the FTC.gov web site to read more about it there.

Thanks for the info. However, they have sent me two text messages but with from two different phone numbers. The Verizon Spam number you gave asked me to enter their number and they stated that they would block it. I don't see how this will work if they keep using different numbers.
