Syncing verizen message+ with a tablet

Is there any other way to sync a phone with a tablet using Message+ besides scanning the QR code?  The tablet app setup refuses to read the phone's QR code.  I used to have  Message+ I my tablet, but disconnected the tablet for a while.  I'd like to now reconnect the tablet, but now it won't scan the code.

Never mind......I just found the thread about installing the old version and that had worked.  🙂
