Just bought my LG Ally and want to transfer my pics and videos to the new larger card. The phone registers on my PC but asks that I insert a disk when trying to open it. I've tried to read the sd card on my pc but it wont recognize it either..
What can I do to transfer this data from one card to the other???

somewhere in the phones settings you have to tell it that you are going to use it as an external disk. not sure where/how with the ally, but on most devices either before you plug it into the pc or right after doing so, you have to let the device know that you intend to use it as an external disk. i would think if you plug it in and then look at the ally, it would prompt you (ask you what you want to do)?? you may also have to install a file that would've either come on a cd with the phone, or is located in the phone somewhere. i believe the pc has to install the device's driver to completely be able to explore it.
Got it figured. On the Ally you have to drag down the "Notifications" and then mount the USB drive.
