To make a long story short, if I lose my grandfathered data plan, Verizon will also lose me as a customer. If it's mid-contract, Verizon breached it and not me.

Ive been with verizon over 10 years.. got the unlimited data a year ago when i switched to a smart phone. i added someone to my account, with a data plan, and its been a major pain having to watch data to make sure it doesnt go over.. $10 charge per gb over! if verizon eliminates unlimited data i will definatly go with another phone carrier.

Adios Verizon. Been with you since around 1999 or 2000, I could always live with paying a little more as I always felt I got a little more. No longer will I stay with you. Last year you only made 3 billion in profit while fighting the unions in the northeast. How much of a bonus does the CEO and board really need? Well you can live without my $1200 a year since it is so minimal. Good luck.

For 2 years of big (f)red (f is not for f****** its for Fredy new nick name) service i pay $6015.6 (including $600 for 3 smartphones not including $30 loyalty upgrade fee.I pay for 3 smart-ones - unlimited data.Every time when i need something- like replacement for bad cellphone Fredy say how i can help you and that help usually is 2 hours of fight for my rights and they never help you with anyting - ther excuses are UNLIMITED .For $225 a month from just my house i need MORE not Less.Just compare Verizon Store services in your city with Mcdonalds (part time students work there) Mcdonalds staff are 100% more efficient in solutions .With Verizon staff everything stops after that first sentence (how we can help you) sometimes i think they are clones or LIMITED! I can believe that i spend almost a decade with ( F)redy Probably nice $35000! Next time i will give this money to SPRINT just to feel like Robin Hood!

I was all set to leave my carrier for Verizon, but their CEO's latest announcements regarding rates and data is making me have serious second thoughts.

My questions to a VZW employee who is probably monitoring this string are when will VZW make the shared data plans available, and will they be available to current single data plan users.  I'm not a big data user, so being able to share the data with another line in my family plan is most attractive.  Why pay for two data plans if you only need one?
