Don’t bother trying, Verizon makes too much money off of marketing deals which they sign with these companies to load app on your phone so you can pay them to direct market to you without your specific permission.

Ahhhhh, but you DO give your permission when you sign up for a new account or upgrade phones. It is part of the contract.
Ya don't want bloatware, get a landline or a satellite phone. Problem solved

Thanks for the laugh, mortb!
As for the unwanted applications, I have said my peace.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thank you for taking the
lazy way out. It is the vast majority of their customer base that Verizon relies on to
bend over and not make waves so they can pay their multi-million dollars
salaries to their senior VP’s

hello, May i know the OS of your device?
Wait until Android 4.0 ICS update, we can have a option to disable the "bloatware".

It's not a case of bending over. If you look thru past threads, you will see this argument again and again and again, ad naseum. It's a case of we, as customers can not do a thing about this particular problem. There are times when waves can help. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. Don't get me wrong. I agree 100 per cent with you on doing away with bloatware, or at least having the ability to delete it.
