Why is it that we can not remove this along with the other bloatware? Just take a look at the reviews for the "app" on the Google Play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.telecomsys.android.SCG&hl=en
Most are all one star reviews and as usual you choose to ignore us. This isn't even comparable with many of the flagship phones like the HTC Rezound.
Its so bad that I had top create a pention
Verizon, please let us remove this peace of crap

It is a pre-installed application and that's why the reviews are low stars. This discussion has occurred many, many times before. The application cannot be uninstalled.

hence the point of this topic. To make Verizon more aware that we do not want it. Just because its been posted before does not mean we should be quiet about it. Verizon needs to understand that we do not want this shit.

Then get the Galaxy Nexus. It sounds like it will fit "your needs".

I should be able to choose the phone I want. Just because Verizon has trained you, as an employee to tell your custmorers to get a nexus and that bloatware and battery draining location services isn't an issue doesn't mean you have too. Attatude like that will make you loose commission. I already delt with a lady like that at the Beaverton Oregon store. Walked right out empty handed.

I am not a Verizon employee nor I have ever been. I personally chose the Nexus myself because of the lack of bloatware and the stock android experience. If you don't open the applications, they don't run. My Thunderbolt has several pre-installed application and they are not using the phone's resources and I can easily scroll right past them in the app drawer.

If you don't like VZW's preinstalled apps, then go to another carrier.

I agree, we chose the phone and carrier we want, we pay for it we should be able to delete anything we don't want on it. I guess the other have been programed to just accept everything and not ask questions. They probably voted for obama too.

Nice to know Verizon employees roam the board
