Is there additional charges for using the droid as a mobile hotspot to surf net on laptop?
Yes, if you have a Mobile Hotspot capable phone, the additional feature is $20/month to use that capability.
My Droid says that it is included as a feature and didn't work even when I tried to pay for it... But if you look up the Droid Bionic on the VW website it says it.... And when it was explained to me on the phone by a VW rep they said it was included and I had 4 GB as long as I didn't go over that. Which I never do.. And I bought the HDMI cable so it works as an ethernet cable as welll, to a laptop, but that won't work either...
