What should I do if I am locked out of a tablet?

I purchased a tablet for my granddaughter and just set the parental guides. Now I can't unlock it  andoesn't it will not give any options, any ideas?

Try this:

You sign into the Android Device Manager with your Google credentials. Let us know if this helps.
