Had the phone since November not so smart lock works when it wants. MANY have complained when are you going to fix

We want to do all that we can to help! The Smart Lock feature is pretty cool. Let's figure this out. What make & model phone are you using? Can you please describe what you mean that it works only when it wants to? Please provide details on the steps that you've taken on setting this up.

I have the Z force2 and smart lock does not work. Never has from begining when i got the phone last fall.  used to use the work around of disable the trust agent and then reboot phone then enable the trust agent again. Smart lock would work for awhile and then stop. Got tired of that. The help menu says that this is a "custom version" of smart lock and to check with verison.  Google forums have been no help except the above mentioned work around. What can be done to get this to work? I want it to work because I liked it and thought it very useful.

yes i have, need it for google pay. it comes and goes but mostly does not

work. if i go to settings, smart lock then do my pattern there is no

choices at all just blank screen. if i go to trust agents and turn of that

agent, reboot phone then turn that trust agent on again my trusted places

and devices will work for a short period of time then it does not. just a

vicious circle of frustration

Seems like an issue for Motorolla not Verizon

Been there. They say it's Google issue. If if open device help on Droid

zforce 2 says under smart lock that " this is custom version of smart lock

and contact Carrier" go figure. Just more run around.

Well it's either an issue with Android or the device. Which leaves Verizon out of the picture regardless

It's a Motorola problem and not a carrier or Google problem. You will find this problem on all Z2s sold by Motorola including overseas. Their customer forums people have had problems with it.
