Where is the marshmallow update for the Moto X 2nd Generation?

Where is the Android 6.x (marshmallow) update for the Moto X 2nd Gen?!?!?  You guys promote the phone and then abandon it already?!?  I chose this phone expecting to get the Android updates quicker and instead we are left in the dust for such a new phone!  Come on Verizon give us a reason to stay with you guys because you're service ain't that great.

Never gonna happen thanks to Motorola. They are still supporting the reasonably priced Moto X Pure if your phone is not working correctly.

Motorola dropped support for a lot of their device in NA. That includes their unlock and unbranded devices. This happened for the second time when the new company took over. I have 3 devices from Motorola that I ended up using other means to get the update since they dropped support. At this point my trust is wearing thin.

Thanks for the replies.  So sad that they continue to get away with this leaving the customer hanging to for us to shell out more money on new devices.  Guess while I have been ready to leave Verizon for many other reasons seems I'll have to start ruling out Motorola when I do decide to get something new since it's obvious we can't depend on them either.
