It looks like the lower end model. They say retail 299 which the regular dark grey is. Verizon built in S2 is 399.99 retail.

The 3G version is $349.99. The bluetooth version is $299.99. If you see a $399.99 price tag then you may be looking at the classic.

Look at the retail values and the promotion retail values.
Bluetooth is $299.99
3G is $349.99
Classic is $399.99
The promotional advertising says in (retail value $349.99).

Ready for me to blow your mind with pictures and links?
Samsungs retail price is $299.99, and the bluetooth version is $249.99
Gear S2 Watch - Silver | Samsung US $249.99
Find prices, local retailers and online retailers for Samsung SM-R730VZKAVZW $299.99
So that is why it's priced the way it is based ON what they have as advertising.
Now as for Verizon's advertising. See that $349.99 retail tag?
Samsung Gear S2 | Verizon Wireless
Now look at the retail price and not the contract price then look at the photo below.
So now you seen all of that they both point to it being the 3G version and NOT the bluetooth version.

per the Verizon store the free version is 3g Bluetooth only, so I would have to lug my phone with me still (its not stand alone. They will give me 100.00 towards the purchase of the stand alone version, so it would be 200 he said

now for good measure the price for the bluetooth version on Verizon
Samsung Gear S2 Bluetooth - Verizon Wireless $299.99
which doesn't match up with Verizon's advertising.
