Why Am I Seeing A "Software Download Complete" Message?

I have started getting this popup box with no explanation in Windows 10:

A web search, followed by a search in this forum, suggests it is likely Verizon software of some sort. I do have a Samsung phone through Verizon, but there is no indication that this box is related to Verizon or my mobile phone. How can I check to make sure this is a bona fide Verizon message and not a Trojan horse?

What device is this on? Is your phone connected to this device?

To be honest, that looks more like a a notification from Windows for the Windows OS update.

If you downloaded the software from us directly and it works on your device as it supposed to, you would be ok. However, what is the make and model of your device?
