Why can't I make calls?

Unable to make outbound calls this morning.  Try dialing out but all it does it dial, never actually connects

It's important that you get you back up and running, and able to call out again. How long has it been doing this? Is it everywhere or just in a certain area? What is  the zip code in the area?

Have you tried to power cycle your phone by turning off, then on?

Turns out there was a tower down in my area.  Would have been nice to have been notified when I logged into my online Verizon account versus having to go to the store to be told about it.
