Why does it tell me my account is deactivated when I try to purchase ringback tones?

Has anyone figured this [Removed] out?? I have literally tried EVERYTHING!!! I have paid the $.99 for the subscription but I cannot purchase tones. I get error code 245 saying my purchase failed because my account is terminated or suspended. I've called customer service, tried using my laptop, tried the Verizon tone app, tried texting 728 (that actually let me choose a tone, charged me $1.99 for it and the customer service agents can see on my account that it SHOULD be the ringback) and it still doesn't work. HELP ME FIX IT BEFORE I RIP OUT ALL MY HAIR!!!  lol ♡

Unless it has changed recently, I don't believe ringback tones are available on any device that has the HD Voice/Advanced Calling feature enabled on it. Is your phone model capable of HD Voice?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

All carriers have moved to Voice over LTE which is not compatible with ring back tones.

Sorry

It’s upsetting to hear that you have been charged for a service that you’re unable to use the way you want to, StephyJones1.  You’ve reached out to the right team to help.  In order to see what’s going on, we’ll need to access your account. Please look for a private message from me.
