I restored my Verizon Galaxy Nexus (the old one) to clear out my cluttered old phone that was previously on 4.3.2 but now that it was restored it is saying their are no system updates so my phone is stuck on 4.2.2 with no project butter improvements. What do I do!

The most current official OS version on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is Android 4.2.2.

mkp109,
No need to be concerned, glad we can clarify. The software is up to date on the Nexus; all phones are not always on the same sofware version. You'll be notified if and when there is another one. The Nexus is on Build number JDQ39 and Baseband Version I515.10 V.FK01 / I515.FK02, OS Version 4.2.2. You're completely up to date.
