no, the regular s5 was also.
1) Bulkier
2) Reduced sound
3) Unattractive
Add Pain in the azz as well. The last thing I want is a brick in my pocket
I'll take the little bit of bulk for 35% more battery and a phone that
doesnt break when I drop it. From what I've read the speaker is just as
loud as the normal s6. While I'll admit I don't LOVE the way it looks, I
don't need a phone that matches my purse. I need a phone the functions well
during the adventures in my life. The durability and great battery mixed
with all the good specs of the normal s6 make the active a winner.
Exactly this. Everyone gets their stylish phone that isn't a brick and
sounds great, then puts on a stylish case to keep it from breaking when you
drop it, turns it into a brick and muddles sound. I just want to skip that
last step and go right to the brick!
The funny thing is that if I carried a purse then I would care less about the bulk...alas I do not, therefore a case is for suckers. Get a phone that can take it...s6 active!
In regards to earlier claims in this thread that S6 Active sales would be "abysmal" because no one wants rugged phones. The Best buy site currently ranks the S6 Active as their number 2 best selling AT&T Android Smartphone- remember the S6 Active is exclusive to AT&T. On Amazon the S6 Active is currently out of stock.
Perhaps there is a market for ruggedized phones, as I have said all along.
Exactly. The comparisons between the s5 and s5 active sales numbers are
meaningless. I think there is a huge market for a huge battery, waterproof
version of the s6
Verizon never got the S5 active. It was an ATT exclusive and so is the S6 active. Even unlocked it couldn't run on a CDMA network.
I've seen the adds for the Galaxy S6 active and it does say it's an ATT exclusive phone.
Samsung and ATT are joined at the hip.
Did all S5 have the trap door water proof power plug?
