Will there be a 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S5 offered?

Wrong answer from Verizon regarding the expandable memory.  There are only a limited amount of apps that can be installed to the memory card.  Come on Verizon!   These misleading comments are coming from your own customer reps.

MTMT, you are spot on.  Verizon thinks it can appease us with the canned answers.  I wish that there a viable alternative in my area as I would leave Verizon in a heartbeat.  I hate being treated like an idiot.  I also am a very annoyed and unhappy customer.

Great question! I am pleased to say you can. In Settings>Apps>Manage Applications. You will be able to select the eligible applications and move them to the SD card.

I understand your concern and we want you to be happy with your phone as well as the storage capacity. We release new phones often and definitely offer phones with 32GB, if you don't feel the Galaxy S5 is not for you due to the storage space. Look at all our phones at www.vzw.com

Guys, enough - it's not rocket science. Google it. No 32GB available, period. Not Verizon's fault, they don't manufacture these things. Will they announce one? Probably, but who the heck knows? People get so angry about the dumbest things without taking 30 seconds to look it up. And guess what, I got news for you - if you think 16GB is bad, 5 or 6 GB of that is taken up by Samsung and Verizon software. So if 10 GB isn't enough for you to store your stuff, get an SD card or get a different phone.

Phone_guy, the frustration is with VZW. The 32GB version will be available, but for marketing purposes they won't tell us when. They should. The sugary, pollyanaish responses of the customer support people don't help; they treat customers like children. ("Oh, how nice that you are looking into your options! We want you to be happy!")

And for the record, "get an SD card" is not the answer, since not all apps can be installed on the SD card, so 16GB can fill up quickly.

MTMT, I get it - believe me, I do. But even if these employees answering our questions know something about a release date, they certainly aren't allowed to share it, never mind on this forum. These companies are often under NDA even if they know about shipping dates (and we're making assumptions... they may not know much yet). As for your frustration with the tone of these employees answering our questions? I mean, I can't tell you how to react, but at least these folks are being polite. They could just tell you to "Google it" like I did! (Actually, they probably can't, or they'd get fired). I hear you on 16GB - I wouldn't do it, I'd wait. But that's subjective. (Note 3, FTW) Truthfully 16GB for apps would prob suit most ppl as long as you offload pics and video to SD card... Again, not for everyone - but let's be honest, did ppl really think they were going to get more answers on a support forum than they would from the rest of the internet? There's just no release info yet, no need to unleash the hate...

The direct answer I am looking for is "When will the 32gb Samsung Galaxy S5 be available from Verizon?"

I know about the up to 128gb SD supplemental storage.  I really don't care about any other comments about how I don't need the extra memory, etc., etc.  At Wireless World in Barcelona in February Samsung announced BOTH the 16gb AND the 32gb Versions

I want to purchase a 32gb Galaxy S5 NOT a 16gb S5....

Again, please, When will Verizon offer the 32gb Galaxy S5?????
