Just wondering if the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be offered with 32 GB. The 16 GB is simply not an option as the OS takes up half of the space. Please carry this device as I am more than willing to pay for it.

JRLittleJr,
I am glad to see that you are looking at available options with our new devices. We know that customers always want to have the latest and greatest and we want to keep up as best we can. At this time there is no information on getting the larger gb model, but you can always keep up with that information and more here http://bit.ly/n5snpq.
Thank you,

I just got the 16 GB Samsung S5 yesterday. I was able to install a 32 GB Micro SD card (from my old phone) to upgrade the storage. The slot is inside next to the battery. The SIM card is on the bottom and the Micro SD slot is sandwiched on top.
Too bad the Verizon customer support agent did not think of telling you about the memory slot.

That is fine for maybe what you need from your S5 but some applications will not go to the SD card and those that do most do not all go to the SD card. Games played by many users seldom go to the SD card. Many / most of the games can use up to 1 gb of usable space on the internal storage. SD not an option for many. My S4 has 32 gb of internal storage and I only have about 9 gb of internal storage free and I have a SD card 64 gb in size and it only has left 6 gb. I have it otherwise full with my music / photos. I am looking forward to a new S5 32gb and 128 gb SD card because I have more music to add and I know I will need more room for photos.

I see you got a very helpful canned response from VZW as usual. I am hoping for this to happen as it did with the S4 but I think that took about 6 weeks duration between the launch of the 16 gb version and the launch of the 32 gb version. I saw they were making the Developer Edition of the S5 available (Coming Soon) but it was 16 gb with an unlocked boot loader which is helpful to many but even as much as I would like to have a phone with an unlocked boot loader the 16 gb internal memory is the deal breaker for me. If they don't bring out the S5 with the 32 gb I am waiting on the Galaxy Note 4 which should be here in fall. The N4 will be a larger phone than I really wanted but if it has 32 gb of internal storage it will be doable for me.

Where is the 32gb model? This should be standard issue in 2014! The GS2 from 3yrs ago had 16gb and 32gb options.

TonyG_VZW,
We are glad to see that you are responding to questions, albeit with useless answers. We know that customer support always wants to appear to be helpful and we want to support this charade. At this time there is no reason to continue looking for useful answers from VZW, but you can always continue to pose for nice posters like the one here http://bit.ly/1r2PNgU.
Thank you,
An annoyed customer

snipereye,
I definitely understad why you want more memory. I have a lot of media myself and while I am not able to expand my memory, I am pleased to say the GS5 definitely can. You can expand it with a microSD card. You can locate all accessories on www.vzw.com

Can you install apps to the sdcard? If not then a phone with 32gb internal memory is a must!

I know about the memory slot. The problem is that not all apps can be installed to the memory card. 16 GB is not an option for most people who plan to install apps. My suggestion is to get rid of the 16 GB option-memory is cheap. Very disappointed once again in Verizon. I don't know why this company makes some of the decisions they do.
If the problem lies with Samsung not providing the 32 GB option to the American market, I stand corrected.
This is the one area where Apple has it together. When they release a phone, you know what options there are. No games as with the Android devices. I still prefer Android, but I am very frustrated with the fragmentation.
